FEMP Activities The CoE is funded by the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP). The COE collaborates with FEMP on a wide range of projects, from analytical tool development, to webinars, white papers, and more. Better Buildings Partners and Case Studies The CoE collaborated on the Better Buildings Challenge and Data Center Accelerator programs. U.S. Utilities Utilities can be critical partners in helping data center owners and operators realize significant energy and cost savings through the pursuit of energy efficient opportunities. China The CoE worked with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), as well as key industry members to promote open standards, test procedures, specifications, and evaluation metrics for U.S. and Chinese data centers. India The CoE has worked with key partners in India to develop standards for data centers in accordance with the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC).
