Focus Areas

We conduct research, analysis and stakeholder engagement across a number of core focus areas.

The Business Case for Energy Efficiency in Data Centers

The energy intensity of data centers means that energy efficiency improvements have the potential to deliver substantial energy (and monetary) savings to an organization. This resource helps project champions build the business case for energy efficiency.

Data Center Types and Markets

Some data center types and sectors face unique challenges and opportunities relative to energy efficiency. CoE has curated resources for select data center types and markets.

U.S. and International Partnerships

The CoE partners has partnered with various federal and international initiatives and programs in pursuit of advancing new technologies in data center energy efficiency, institutionalizing best practices, and more.
