In June 2019, The Office of Management & Budget (OMB) released updated guidance on the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI). OMB Memorandum M-19-19 rescinds and replaces OMB Memorandum M-16-19. OMB is focused on targeting improvements in key areas where agencies can make meaningful improvements and achieve further cost savings through optimization and closures.
